Message from the Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Waynesville Police Department, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our agency’s web site. This site was designed through our commitment to provide a professional, quality exchange of information between our agency and the citizens that we serve. We also hope to present a more detailed view of the Waynesville Police Department and the many ways that we work to Serve and Protect our community.

The Waynesville Police Department, as it is written in our Mission Statement, provides a safe environment for all citizens through the collective contributions of the community. We value all contributions made by both residents and visitors of our town. Through these contributions and partnerships with our officers, crime can be reduced and the quality of life within our community improved.
