Drug Abuse Resistance Education

WPDs D.A.R.E program is a cooperative effort between the schools, law enforcement, and parents. By working together, we can all continually re-enforce the lessons the children learn through continued teaching, listening, and example.

The Focus of Instruction within our D.A.R.E. program is to prevent or reduce drug abuse and violence.

We teach children to resist the subtle pressures that might otherwise influence them to experiment with alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, inhalants, other drugs, and violence.
