The WPD Dispatch Office is located just past the front lobby of the Waynesville Police Department. Communications dispatches for police, fire, and first responder personnel. All telecommunicators are trained to handle 911 response and are DCI certified. Waynesville employs 4 full-time dispatchers, each serving on an assigned squad: Sherry Burnette - A-Squad Ricky Harris- B-Squad Sheila Trull - C-Squad Joni West - D-Squad
